You are invited to join us again this year in creating a BRIDGE OF LIGHT for purification and blessings as the current year ends and a new year begins. Your donation at whatever level you choose will light lamps from Minnesota Sakya Center to TKL, His Holiness’ Seat in Walden, New York, to His Holiness Sakya Trizin’s Monastery in India during Losar (Tibetan New Year) month:

With your donation to Minnesota Sakya Center*: 

{February 18, 2012} ~ SAKYA THUPTEN DARGYE LING, MINNESOTA: A lamp will be lit in the Minnesota Sakya Center, Sakya Thupten Dargye Ling during Purification Rituals and a Losar Celebration led by Venerable Lama Kalsang Gyaltsen with the Center Community on your behalf and for those for whom you have sponsored lamps.

and then: {During Losar Month, March 2012} ~ TSECHEN KUNCHAB LING, NEW YORK: Lamps will be lit at Tsechen Kunchab Ling, Temple of All - Encompassing Great Compassion, and the Seat of His Holiness the Sakya Trizin in the United States. Your lamp(s) will be among hundreds of others that will be lit during special rituals for success of dharma practice and removal of obstables at TKL.

and then: {During Losar Month, March 2012} ~ SAKYA CENTRE, DEHRADUN, INDIA: Additional butter lamps will be lit at Sakya Centre in India at Losar during the Month of Miracles in 2012. His Holiness the Sakya Trizin and the Monastery Sangha will perform special rituals during this time when, as Buddha states in the sutra, all merit (including the merit generated by each of your lamps) will multiply 100,000 times.

*Your contribution will be equally distributed to support Sakya Centre (1/3), TKL (1/3), and Sakya publications & His Holiness Sakya Trizin’s holy activities (1/3). Sakya Thupten Dargye Ling is tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a branch of Tsechen Kunchab Ling, seat of His Holiness the Sakya Trizin in the United States.

You can support Sakya Thupten Dargye Ling by becoming a member at the basic Membership level or as a Sponsor, by supporting our general fund, and/or by supporting our building fund.

With your membership payments and sustained donations, Sakya Thupten Dhargye Ling will be able to continue bringing highly qualified teachers to Minnesota to provide authentic teachings and to serve spiritual needs of members and the wider community. We are a 501(c )(3) nonprofit organization; all contributions are tax deductible.

MEMBER LEVELS & BENEFITS: Members offer annual dues of $35 per person or $55 per family.

SPONSOR LEVELS & BENEFITS: Sponsors offer a monthly pledge of $10 or more per month, or $120 or more per year.

*Free admission to all teaching events held at the center location.
*Special monthly prayers by the sanghas at Tsechen Kunchab Ling
*All of the benefits of basic members.
